Hire Information

Hiring headpieces is a popular alternative and has become a common practice for events such as weddings, race days, and other formal occasions. Headpieces are an excellent way to add elegance, glamour, and sophistication to any outfit, and can help you stand out from the crowd. 

The important stuff

My Fancy Feathers hats, fascinators and headpieces are available to hire from £30 – £50 depending on the piece chosen.

Payment is made at the time of booking, by entering into a hire agreement you agree that you have read and accept the hire terms and conditions.

Hire duration is four days, unless otherwise agreed. The start date of your hire should be scheduled for the day prior to the event you wish to wear the item at.

Postage is charged separately, and you must have the item posted by the fourth day of hire.

Hints and Tips

  • Avoid rain

    Keep an umbrella with you and take shelter in the event of a wet day. Even very slight drizzle can damage a hat beyond repair.

  • Don't over touch

    Some fabrics are particularly sensitive to stains. Take care not to damage or stain the item with food, makeup or oily fingers.

  • Makeup

    Keep foundation and heavy makeup off of any skin that will be making direct contact with the item.

  • Don’t force the hat piece:

    Head bands and fascinator frames are durable, but apply too much force and they will snap. Be careful not overstretch or force.
